I love checkinstall. I am using version 1.6.1 on Debian etch. However, lately
(and I do not use it all that much nowadays), packages generated by
checkinstall fail to install, consistently.
I get the following error :
-------------------------
Done. The new package has been saved to
/usr/local/src/graphics/linuxwacom-0.7.7-3/linuxwacom-0.7.7_3-1_i386.deb
You can install it in your system anytime using:
dpkg -i linuxwacom-0.7.7_3-1_i386.deb

Could someone throw light on what is going on and help me fix this ? I do not
want to go back to installing packages the old way. It is possible that I
made a mistake in installing checkinstall on this new machine, but I am
really getting ticked by this stupid error.
