Re: Removal from Slackware 12 ??





Well, it's kind of blurry right now. Most references in the net say something about coreutils and possibly something about glibc-2.5, but no one mentions a concrete problem/function/function calling scheme that could be causing the issue.

Some people have reported success using checkinstall-1.5.3 which may suggest that the fstrans code is to blame.

I started looking into this only yesterday. I'll keep the list posted.

Unfortunately,  some  shed more heat than light on such things.  I'm
